How it's calculated
- Every unit is converted to pascals — the SI unit — and from pascals into whatever unit you need.
- So converting in either direction comes down to two multiplications, and no precision is lost along the way.
Example: 1 bar = 0.1 MPa = 1.0197 kgf/cm² = 14.504 psi = 750.06 mmHg = 10,197 mm w.c.
